On May 23, 2022, to celebrate the opening of the Ota International Exchange Center as a new hub for international exchange and multicultural symbiosis, we held a lecture for those living, working or studying in Ota City spreading awareness and understanding about infectious diseases.

令和（れいわ）4年（ねん）5月（がつ）23日（にち）、区（く）の国際交流（こくさいこうりゅう）・多文化共生（たぶんかきょうせい）の活動拠点（かつどうきょてん）である「おおた国際交流センター（こくさいこうりゅうせんたー）」の開館記念（かいかんきねん）として、区内在住（くないざいじゅう）・在勤（ざいきん）・在学（ざいがく）の方（かた）を対象（たいしょう）に感染症（かんせんしょう）の理解（りかい）を深（ふか）める講演（こうえん）を開催（かいさい）しました。

The lecture was given by professor Tateda Kazuhiro from the medical department at Toho University. Professor Tateda introduced examples of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, and spoke about what we can do from now to be prepared and prevent infection. He also explored the ways in which infectious diseases are thought about and dealt with in different cultures - for example, thoughts towards mask wearing, etc.

当日（とうじつ）は、東邦大学医学部（とうほうだいがくいがくぶ）の舘田（たてだ） 一博（かずひろ）（たてだ かずひろ）教授（きょうじゅ）を講師（こうし）としてお招（まね）きし、新型（しんがた）コロナウイルスをはじめとする感染症例（かんせんしょうれい）の紹介（しょうかい）や、異（こと）なる文化（ぶんか）の中（なか）での感染症（かんせんしょう）に対（たい）する考（かんが）え方（かた）の違（ちが）い、マスク着用（ちゃくよう）における考（かんが）え方（かた）など、今後（こんご）の感染症対策（かんせんしょうたいさく）や心構（こころがま）えについて講演（こうえん）いただきました。
